Games and Toys
Recycle at home
No, toys and games cannot currently be recycled at home in your area.
Good to know
Some household waste recycling centres accept toys and games for recycling but it is best to check first. They are not collected as part of household collections so should not be placed in your home recycling.
If your toys are in good working order you could donate them to a charity shop or a local community group.
If your toys and games are beyond repair, it may still be possible to recycle some of the parts if you dismantle them. This includes batteries and battery packs from remote controls which should be removed and recycled.
