About the Be Mighty. Recycle campaign
The Be Mighty. Recycle campaign launched in September 2020 and is Wales’ largest ever recycling campaign. Funded by Welsh Government and managed by Wales Recycles, the campaign aims to help Wales reach 70% recycling by 2025 and become a zero-waste nation by 2050.
Wales is currently third in the world at recycling and the campaign encourages Welsh citizens to recycle more of the right things more often to help get Wales to number one in the world at recycling.
There is still more that we can do to encourage everyone in Wales to recycle and partner support is a great way to amplify and reinforce the Be Mighty. Recycle message.
Partner support
The Be Mighty. Recycle campaign has received incredible support from all 22 local councils in Wales along with national partners such as local universities, housing associations, brands, environmental organisations, visitor attractions, sports clubs and government bodies.
Our partners supported the campaign by posting the Be Mighty. Recycle messages on their social media and internal communication channels, helping to target hard-to-reach audiences.
